Bart Vanhercke

Bart Vanhercke is Director of the European Social Observatory (OSE) and an associate member of the academic staff at the Centre for Sociological Research (CeSO), University of Leuven. Since November 2015, he is a Policy Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labour (IZA), Berlin. His current research focuses on the social dimension of the new European economic governance. Earlier research experience dealt with the Europeanization of domestic social inclusion, healthcare and pensions policies.
